This update provides a snapshot of current and upcoming works for the month of November/December.

RECENT MILESTONES

BCENTRAL would like to report that the finishing trades have almost been completed to both the Sky and Heart buildings as we move closer towards completion.

Sky building

• Glazing components have been completed
• Painting currently being completed

Heart building

• Timber flooring and carpet have been installed
• Painting touch ups and completion of finishing trades

 

UPCOMING WORKS

Sky building

• Completion of timber and carpet
• Appliances to be installed
• Completion of Foyer works
• Services testing and commissioning

Heart building

• Completion of Foyer works
• Services testing and commissioning

Common areas

• Service meter cupboards have been installed
• Civil external works including footpaths and crossovers have been completed
• Epoxy works to the basement are being completed with linemarking to follow
• Basement storage cages are being installed
• Signage to be installed

 

OVERALL PROGRAM

Completion is currently expected in the fourth quarter of 2019 with settlements to follow thereafter.

Sky building

• The crane was removed in September
• The retail shopfronts are now revealed and canopies completed
• Plastering of walls and ceilings have been completed
• Splash backs, shower screens and mirrors have been completed up to
  Level 3
• The kitchen joinery and robes have been installed
• Tiling has been completed to wet areas and balconies

Heart building

• The lift has been installed and being commissioned
• Timber flooring to be completed
• Appliances have been installed
• Painting has been completed internally to apartments

RECENT MILESTONES

BCENTRAL would like to report that great progress has been made at both the Sky and Heart buildings over the last month. The internal fitout of the apartments is taking shape and colour with the installation of the joinery, stone benchtops, splashbacks, mirrors and tiling.

Sky building

• The gantry has been removed to the pedestrian footpath now revealing the retail shopfronts
• Plastering of ceilings to the lower levels has been completed
• Kitchen joinery has been installed from Level 1 to Level 3
• Bathrooms and external balconies have been waterproofed and screeded with tiling having commenced to the lower levels
• The installation of splashbacks and mirrors has commenced
• Robe installation is underway to the lower levels

 

Heart building

• Kitchen and bathroom joinery has been installed
• Bathroom tiling works has been completed
• Robes have been installed
• Stone benchtops, splashbacks and mirrors have been installed
• Timber flooring installation has commenced
• Painting works have commenced

• Plastering of ceilings to be completed to the upper levels
• Tiling works to commence to the upper levels
• Balcony pavers to be installed to the lower levels
• Kitchen joinery and robes will be installed to the upper levels

• Services fit off to be completed
• Painting works to be completed internally to apartments
• Appliances to be installed
• Carpet works to commence
• Foyer fitout to commence
