This update provides a snapshot of current and upcoming works for the month of May.

RECENT MILESTONES
Bcentral would like to report that construction is progressing that great progress has been made at both the Sky and Heart buildings over the last month. The building is taking shape and colour with the installation of the external cladding and render applied.

 

Sky building:
• The structural steelwork to Level 5 and Ground Floor canopy was completed.
• 80% of the aluminium windows have been installed
• The services rough-ins were completed to the lower levels
• Bathrooms and external balconies are being waterproofed and screeded in preparation for tiling.

 

Heart building:
• Kitchen and bathroom joinery installation has commenced
• Bathroom tiling works has commenced
• Robe installation is underway
• Services fit off is underway to Level 3
• Splashbacks and mirrors have been measured

UPCOMING WORKS

Sky building:
• The services rough-in and plaster walls through to Level 5 is to be completed
• Plastering of the ceilings is to commence
• Tiling will commence to lower Levels 1 to 3
• Kitchen joinery is to commence

Heart building:
• Completion of the installation of kitchen and bathroom joinery
• Services fit off to all apartments
• Installation of stone benchtops
• Installation of splashbacks and mirrors

OVERALL PROGRAM

Completion is current expected in the fourth quarter of 2019 with settlements to follow thereafter.

Bcentral would like to report that construction is progressing at a steady pace.

The Heart building has advanced with the installation of the roof plumbing, roof sheeting and windows.

The services rough in is 90% complete to the apartments.

The internal studwork has been completed to the apartments with the plaster currently being flushed and sanded.

The Sky building saw the remaining concrete slab being poured prior to the Easter break.

The concreters have tensioned all the slabs and have commenced stripping formwork up to Level 1.

The structural steelwork is underway and is commencing to Level 5. This also includes steelwork to the Ground Floor canopy.

 

UPCOMING WORKS
The services rough in and other works are to be completed towards the end of May on the Heart building with kitchen installations having commenced.

The façade will begin to take shape and colour with external cladding works to be installed and render to be applied.

Balconies will be waterproofed and screeded with apartment bathrooms also to be prepared for tiling.

The Sky building will see the formwork all stripped by the end of the month to allow services rough in to commence to the lower levels. Structural steelwork, roof plumbing and roof sheeting will be completed towards the end of May.

 

OVERALL PROGRAM
Completion is currently expected in the fourth quarter of 2019 with settlements to follow thereafter.

Construction is continuing in Bentleigh at the site of the CIEL apartments.

This update provides a snapshot of current and upcoming works for the month of March.

RECENT MILESTONES

Construction is progressing well in Bentleigh at the site of the CIEL apartments.

There is plenty of excitement and buzz as the CIEL shadecloth was erected around the building site.

The months of February and March have seen the site become a hub of activity with the building rising out of the ground with the Sky building (Centre Rd) and Heart building (Browns Rd) beginning to take shape.

The structural works to the basement, ground and first floors have been completed.

The second floor has been poured to Level 2 with precast panels erected to Level 3 on the Sky building whilst the Heart building has been topped out with the third floor being poured and precast panels erected to this level.

 

UPCOMING WORKS
The concrete pours and precast panel erection will continue to the Sky building.

The framing and roughing out of services will commence on the Heart building next month.
